Our Tribal Partners

This is the cosmology story shared by the Papuan women in response to Mitra BUMMA’s founder and co-CEO, Ruwi, sharing his vision of a collectively-owned indigenous peoples corporation during a fire circle one evening in the summer of 2022. Since then, we continue to getting closer to this prophecy.

Namblong Background

Taken from the Klesi Language, Namblong means “light on the west.” In ancient times, the Klesi people often looked over the valleys from their homes and saw a bright light shining from the west towards Grime Valley.
